10 — Strategic Change

Initially developed to help a small business integrate new systems and processes into their existing organizational work culture and subsequently used during the last 20 years by corporations and organizations of all sizes to help implement strategic change (including strategic plans, tactics, new tools and knowledge) into existing operations, these courses have been offered as a semester-long business course at Washtenaw Community College Business Center in Ypsilanti, MI.

In corporate settings, its length is tailored to meet client needs, from days to weeks to months. Workshop participants develop a basic understanding of the principles of change management and its relevance to the specific work environment. The design emphasizes individual involvement to reduce resistance to change, management of the change process, and development of measures to monitor the progress of successful change.
